Nice copy missing the title, like all the plates of the first edition, printed on paper wire rod, with large margins beyond the imprint of the slab, with various slight traces of foxing on the white edges but overall in a good state of conservation. The description sheet is added. Diana, daughter of Jupiter and Latona, is the Goddess of the Hunt, in this work she is represented in a short dress girdled at the waist and with shoes, with the quiver from which she seems to extract an arrow and is accompanied by a deer. Bibliography: Brunet "Manuel du libraire et deateur de livres" Paris 1860 vol.4 n ° 1335. http://grandearte.net/other-anecdotes-painters-engravers-sculptors-and-architects/musee-francais- and-musee-royal Milesi "Dictionary of Engravers" Bergamo 1989 pag.59. Measurements in mm: 425ca x 318ca
